and for dinner from Tuesday through Friday from 6:30 to 9:30
Sunday Carvery hours are 12:30 to 2:30 and 6:30 to 9:30
Closed Monday and Saturday

Vaults is an old Coaching House with extraordinary vaulted ceilings, which give the  dining room a unique ambiance. At well over 300 years old Vaults is one of the oldest buildings in the Almancil area.

The dining room is stylishly decorated to complement the remarkable brickwork. Vaults has a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Now that the warm weather has arrived our private patio is open for al fresco dining.
The bistro style menu is complemented by daily specials which change regularly based on what is fresh and in season at the weekly market.

Our lunch specials change daily, include a starter and main course, and are a well-priced €9.00.

On Sundays, Vaults provides the best traditional English Carvery in the Golden Triangle, with both lunch and evenings sittings.

Chef Manuel Debiez heads our kitchen team
at Vaults. Chef Manuel is a graduate of the
School of Hotel and Tourism of the Algarve in Faro
(Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Algarve) 
He has worked at the Sheraton Algarve
and Pine Cliffs Resort, as well as Fairways in Vilamoura.

Chef Manuel brings a fresh and youthful attitude to his cooking
High quality fresh ingredients combined with
expert cooking techniques bring out natural flavours
in his dishes that are inherently
richer, creating memorable meals.

Chef David Swinton is the man behind
our well-loved Sunday Carvery, long considered
the best in the Algarve. We offer a choice of
roast beef, roast pork or roast lamb,
(chicken or salmon for those who prefer light fare),
with all the traditional trimmings.
